The AR Cité project (pronounced ‘our city’) brings together students, faculty and media professionals to design and create place-based Augmented Reality experiences.
The media vignettes we’ve created bring the neighbourhood’s culture and local history to life.
Students involved in creating the app have learned a wide range of valuable cutting-edge skills including:
- Research
- Design
- Media Production
- App development
Many more students are now using the AR Cité app to learn about our local heritage and the diverse peoples who inhabit the spaces around us.
